Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members, instructional designers, educators, and content creators to understand educational objectives and design requirements.
  • Produce high-quality visual designs for PowerPoint presentations, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with the intended message.
  • Create engaging graphics, animations, and illustrations for e-learning modules, instructional videos and program promotions.
  • Revise and update existing educational materials based on feedback and evolving needs.
  • Translate abstract educational concepts into visually engaging graphics and animations
  • Develop storyboards for e-learning modules and videos, outlining the sequence of graphics, animations, and interactions.
  • Optimize graphics for various online platforms ensuring clarity, consistency, and quick load times.
  • Work with digital video editors and production tools to integrate graphics and illustrations into multimedia content.
  • Test graphics across multiple platforms (mobile, web, etc.) to ensure compatibility and consistency.
  • Review educational materials with stakeholders and incorporate feedback to produce final versions.
  • Stay updated on the latest design tools, software, and trends in educational technology and media design.
  • Provide recommendations for software and tools that can enhance the design process.
  • Work closely with the Technology Training team to administer and provide support as required to deliver training programs and services.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field and three years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Qualifications:

  • Candidates possessing robust graphic design and illustration capabilities.
  • A deep understanding of typography, color theory, and a keen aesthetic sense, as showcased in your impressive design portfolio.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects) and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interpret complex information and translate it into easily understandable visual content.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design and illustration work.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of e-learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate is a plus.
  • A dynamic, motivated individual with the prowess to grasp information rapidly and devise solutions on tight timelines.

The expected pay range for this position is $69,000 to $90,000 per annum.
