You have completed a BS in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Chemical engineering, or a related engineering degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 0-2 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Early Career Neutronic Codes and Methods Engineerin Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit which is responsible for a broad range of activities including engineering code development and maintenance, topical report development and submittals, and first-of-a-kind core design and subsequent neutronics, thermal hydraulic, and safety analyses. The engineering activities are coordinated with other Framatome fuel engineering departments both locally and worldwide. Your work will include:
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to develop software and company products which support the design and licensing of Framatome fuel.
- Program new or revise existing software based on technical and performance objectives of a project.
- Perform licensing assessments for Framatome fuel design and methods.
- Develop and benchmark models used in licensing assessments.
- Interface with U.S. regulations to license Framatome reactor core design and methods.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $67,000 – $87,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
