Responsibilities
DESCRIPTION:
This is a 6 month contract role, with poetntial to extend longer and/or convert to full-time. This position will help to kickstart the 3P marketplace strategy and workflow while managing smaller but established pureplay.com (not including Amazon.com). This is a GM role whereby you own the sales and marketing strategy, planning and execution of the new marketplace strategy. Reporting to a GM model eCommerce pillar, you will be working alongside strong ecommerce talents who are managing Amazon.com; Brick and clicks, Instacart. We all manage our trade rate and marketing budget of a $400M ecomm business. This could lead to a full time role pending on success of the 3P marketplace.
The position will be based out of our 60,000 sq. foot, modern Emeryville, California office. WE ARE A CULTURE OF PERSONAL CONNECTON, WHICH IS WHY WE’VE CHOSEN A PERMANENT HYBRID WORK ENVIRONMENT WITH NORMS THAT EQUATE TO 2-3 DAYS MID-WEEK IN THE OFFICE FOR EMPLOYEES BASED IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. The expected pay scale for this role is $50 to $60 per hour, which may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic area (if applicable), and internal equity for the role.

- Channel conflict and pricing strategy on core products on 2 brands (30 products)
- 3P sellers management

- Manage $5M business on iHerb.com, Muscle&strength.com, Bodybuilding.com, Worldpantry.com
- Drive Revenue planning and management and Demand generation
- Create new Pureplay.com businesses
