We’re looking for an Editor, Streaming, to create helpful and entertaining coverage for the streaming category. Our mission is to recommend the best shows and movies to watch and help people get the most out of the services they subscribe to.
** This is a position covered under a collective bargaining agreement between Future US, Inc. and the Writers Guild of America East. **
What you’ll be doing…
As Editor, Streaming at Tom’s Guide, you’ll be writing roundups, news, reviews, op-eds and more related to the latest shows and movies across all the major streaming services, including Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV, Max and others. You’ll be writing timely how-to watch content for shows and events, including sports, as well as reviewing streaming services and devices. You’ll also regularly update critical buying guides to help our readers find the best services and devices for their streaming needs.
You’ll also create several streaming articles per week, including listicles that round up the best new shows and movies to watch across all the major streaming services, write how-to watch articles timed with big show premieres and sports events; write and maintain hubs for highly anticipated shows and movies and maintain key buying guides and hubs on the best streaming services and streaming devices with consistent updates.

- Experience at an online media outlet covering streaming and entertainment
- A desire to develop and grow streaming content audience using innovative ideas and keeping abreast of industry developments and trends
- Ability to maintain high output level and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Strong industry contacts
- Experience promoting stories via cross-linking and social media
- Ability to create short videos on streaming content for TikTok, Reels a plus
