Overview
- End-to-end Data + Analytics data delivery execution ownership and optimization of resource assignment, sequencing, allocation
- Translation between Business and Technical domains to ensure accuracy of build and understanding implications for utilization of technology within business practices
- Horizontal visibility across Products and Projects to help drive re-use and reduce redundancy/duplication in the D+A and broader PEP portfolio
This role will oversee the data implementation of IBP PBNA and PFNA, respectively. IBP is PepsiCo’s largest digital global program, and will be deployed in 2023-2024 across PEP’s two largest sectors (PBNA and PFNA), requiring dedicated TDPM support. It will be responsible for key artifacts such as data requirements, data delivery roadmaps, and data related user stories. This role will act as primary collaborator across all D+A teams to coordinate end-to-end data roadmap. This role requires a significant level of decision-making authority, executive presence, and ability to influence.
Responsibilities
Delivery Feasibility and Accountability
- Manage delivery against key technical delivery milestones
- Collaboratively manage reporting that measures D+A’s execution against key programs
- Define and drive Business Customer adoption of “acceptance criteria” for delivery from D+A
- Lead x-chapter Pod resources towards shared goal
Translation
- Lead the “Articulation of the questions that can be answered” and address the core challenge sought to be resolved by the Business customer
- Work with engineering and data science teams to write and steward user stories and requirements in Azure DevOps
- Translate the analytics solutions back to the business to ensure its actionable and business can drive value from those insights
- Simultaneously ensure Data Engineering and Data Science teams are spending optimal time at work in their specialties while ensuring the business understands what is going to be delivered and how it solves their problem
- Communicate proactively to two audiences (Business and Technical) at once
- Ensure the technical teams are clear on the “why” from the perspective of the Business customer
Technical Documentation and Artifacts
- Work with multiple stakeholders to author technical data requirements for a technical audience (+ build templates of these set of Technical requirements)
- Collaboratively design and document the data product artifacts required by the project
- Ensure technical documentation is readily available for data products produced and that value is communicated to key stakeholders
Presentation, Narrative and Adoption
- Own presentation of DE/DS output to Business Customer, or support when presented as part of Digital Product
- Help track benefits of these insights to leadership to drive acceptance
- Collaborates with Practices (ETO, DPS, DX, VCT, etc..) for embedding analytics solutions in the business and overcoming implementation difficulties
Relationship and Stakeholder Management
- Ensure Business customer expectations from D+A are managed and seek to eliminate disconnect on what can be addressed
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $ 106,300- $177,850.
- Location confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of Product Management, Data Analytics, Science and Management in business facing functions
- 1+ years experience in Food/Beverage/Manufacturing or Consumer Products industry
- 3+ years of experience leading/building advanced analytics and big data solutions or building enterprise SaaS
- Experience working in a data-centric business environment
- Excellent ability to identify sources of value from data analytics across core business domains (such as marketing, risk, and operations) and to define paths realizing that value
- Deep understanding of fundamental machine-learning principles (for instance, training versus predicting, performance measurement, and overfit), as well as techniques such as random forests or neural networks
- Familiarity with machine-learning technologies and tools, such as big data stack, Python, and visualization techniques
- Familiarity with principles and tools for data governance and stewardship
- Strong communication skills and an ability to break down complex information into relevant and digestible points for both inside D+A and externally to the business
- Excellent leadership skills, with a team-player attitude to drive the end-to-end implementation of use cases under time pressure
- Demonstrated ability to drive business-oriented and innovative solutions using data science, feature engineering and machine learning
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and solve highly complex problems across teams
- Strong people management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent, including teams composed of various experience levels
- Proven ability to foster lasting partnerships and persuade/influence at all levels of the organization
- Ability to think beyond their current state (processes, roles and tools) and work towards an unconstrained, optimized design for future state and use downstream for other PepsiCo global programs (ex. NRM, IBP, etc.)
- Self-starter who welcomes responsibility, along with the ability to thrive in an evolving organization and an ability to bring structure in the face of ambiguity
- Matrix management skills, technical and business acumen
- Ability to arbitrate on difficult decisions and drive consensus through a diplomatic approach, raising awareness of global challenges to the highest executive level
