Department Overview

The Electric Safety PMO and Quality Management department provides safety and quality oversight for Electric Power Generation, Transmission, Substation and Distribution. The Safety Program Management Office (PMO) partners with the Enterprise Health and Safety (EH&S) team to provide strategic guidance to improve our safety culture and performance. The Quality program implements an integrated strategic audit approach concentrating on key company focus areas that are a function of risk, regulatory impacts, compliance maturity model attributes, key regulatory issues, and line of business requests.

Position Summary

  • Researches, links, and refines sources of information throughout the company to support the audit process, to maintain databases of audit findings and corrective actions, and develop reports of findings, work methods, commitments, corrective actions and other related utility information
  • Analyzes performance, identifies trends, monitors compliance with audits and identifies issues
  • Designs and implements systems to collect, organize, transfer, and report data from various internal and external sources
  • Participates in business process improvement, quality control and other initiatives
  • Develops, manages and coordinates performance and quality assessment, business process re-engineering, change management, communication and training

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although, we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

A reasonable salary range is:

Annual Minimum: $136,000.00

Annual Maximum: $232,000.00

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with senior management to support strategic planning and decision making. Solve unique and complex problems, anticipate issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to Electric Safety PMO & Quality Management and Electric Operations senior leadership.
  • Perform analysis on the most complex data models that have cross-functional impact. Manage major cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Develop complex data systems that have wide ranging impact and application across multiple departments.
  • Manage and lead projects or initiatives regarding mobile technology, databases, dashboards, metrics, and/or data sets.
  • Manage complex data sets with extreme accuracy. Develop new and innovative technical documentation tools, processes and methods. May act as a team lead, coach or mentor to develop employees

Qualifications

Minimum

  • BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or other related field or equivalent work experience
  • Eight (8) years of related work experience

Desired

  • Graduate Degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge in technical/professional concepts
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in process improvement and the lean suite of tools
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite of products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Expert in PowerBI or other visualization tools / applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform applications
  • Ability to prepare, maintain and modify reports as needed to perform at the job level
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight
  • Able to provide direction, delegate and remove obstacles to complete work
