Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an Electrical Power Systems Engineer with a focus on capital projects to join our Power Delivery Team. This position can be located anywhere in the US.
As an Electrical Power Systems Engineer, you will be working independently as well as you will work directly with senior engineers, PMs, and clients on design of substations, transmission systems, generation plants, giga factories, and distribution systems. Job responsibilities include a working knowledge of NESC and NEC in typical capital projects. You will be responsible for leading design efforts and sealing electrical drawings. You will also support proposal and business development efforts.
Role accountabilities:
As the Electrical Power Systems Engineer, you will contribute to design teams to develop constructible IFC drawing packages for utility and large private sector clients, and design medium- and high-voltage substations, transmission, and distribution systems.
Other responsibilities include:
- Perform various system studies (e.g. lightning, EMF, relay coordination)
- Support proposal efforts to win power delivery work
- Work with CADD designers to develop sealed drawings of your designs
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Pervious relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Power delivery design experience producing IFC drawings for transmission, distribution, substation, or P&C
- Utility design experience
- Consulting experience

The salary range for this position is $60000 – 90000 / year.
