The Electrical Lab Technician will be working with the Hardware Product Engineering teams who are designing the next generation of VR devices. You will be responsible for PCBA rework, day-to-day maintenance and inventory management of the Electrical Engineering lab, and some electronics testing and prototyping. We are looking for an electrical technician who is passionate about collaborating with other engineers and technicians to work on hardware products and prototypes. A successful candidate will be creative, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and looking to expand their skill
* PCBA rework, cable assembly, and electronics breadboarding
* Day-to-day managing of electrical engineering lab workspaces to serve engineering teams
* Lab tools and equipment inventory control, asset management, component purchasing/ordering support, invoice payment and delivery management
* Lab equipment and rework station maintenance, upkeep, calibration
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience in an electrical technician role working on high density PCBAs/electronics assemblies
* Strong experience in soldering
* Experience with fine-pitch/SMT/high density PCBA rework (0402)
* Experience with industry standard EE lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies, etc.)
* Experience with electronics test fixture development and basic operation

* Strong practical knowledge of engineering science and technology
* Experience with industry standard EE lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies, etc.)
* Strong practical knowledge of circuit boards, components, electronic equipment, and computer hardware
