You will be supporting the Test Engineering team to maintain, upgrade, and repair test equipment. Test Support Engineering ensures that the facilities and machinery perform efficiently and accurately to support business functions and avoid operational delays.
Electrical Test Stand Engineering Technician job duties:
* Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on manual and automated test equipment systems.
* Repair test equipment.
* Installation and checkout of new test equipment.
* Troubleshoot test equipment failures.
* Implement engineering changes, modify, or upgrade test equipment.
* Using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level.
Core Qualifications:
* Associate or bachelor’s degree, or military training with focus on electronics theory
* Understanding of electronic circuitry, and manual and fully automated tests
* Ability to read and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics
* Understanding of how the various components of the product fit together with particular attention to the testing and quality
* Ability to troubleshoot to the board and component level.
* Computer Savvy
* Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
* Experience with Environmental stress screening (ESS), Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS), Vibration testing
* Experience with Linux, Visual Basic
