Great matching candidates will have knowledge of troubleshooting electrical tests, familiarity with electrical components, previous hands-on experience. You will be working in a shop floor environment to test aerospace components and trouble shoot and repair as/if faults occur.
Test Stand Operator job duties:
* Run parts and assemblies across different environment simulations and test parameters.
* Read and understand test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
* Provide feedback to engineers and developers regarding functionality and usability of standardized test procedures as well as help suggest improvements.
* Interface with engineering teams, assemblers, and leadership to help identify root cause of faults and potential corrective actions.
Qualifications:
* Associate or bachelor’s degree, or military training with focus on electronics theory
* Understanding of electronic circuitry, and manual and fully automated tests
* Understanding of how the various components of the product fit together with particular attention to the testing and quality
* Ability to troubleshoot to the board and component level.
* Proficient in the use of digital multimeter (DMM), oscilloscope, and computer-based test equipment.
* Ability to read instructions or technical documentation such as schematics or drawings.
* Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
* Experience with Environmental stress screening (ESS), Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS), Vibration testing
* Experience with Linux, Visual Basic
