Job Description Summary
The Marketing Transformation and Business Management Team is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support the operations and project management function. This role will facilitate the execution of specific marketing projects and cross functional initiatives while building efficient processes and procedures to portray operational excellence. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Operations, in the Marketing department, this role will work closely with the internal marketing teams to create well thought out project plans, detailed note documentation, holistic recaps, and prescriptive next steps in order to increase productivity and efficiencies in the way we work.
Role Overview:
The Senior Program Manager role is responsible for supporting the coordination and execution of project plans across multiple departments playing a critical role in the holistic planning and execution of many large initiatives, across many departments that impact overall customer experience, product assortment, inventory, marketing, member services, operations, and fulfillment.
The role will work closely with data science and analytics, paid media, customer service, product, technology, finance, legal, operations, brand marketing, customer insight, enterprise sales and editorial teams to ensure all areas of the business are involved, informed, and working toward the same strategic subscription goals.
The ideal candidate would have:
- The desire to connect project goals with daily tactical priorities
- A hunger to guide program execution while maintaining clear ownership and accountability across team stakeholders
- The ability to build positive relationships in order to iterate on process creation based on stakeholder feedback
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to connect with teammates on both the non-technical and technical side of the business
- The ability to share updates, informed decisions, and communicate these updates in a thoughtful, clear way using tailored styles (charts, graphics, etc.)
Job Responsibilities:
- Management of the marketing campaign execution process and platform in support of Dow Jones’ Professional Membership products, Professional Information Business and events, including but not limited to: gathering requests and requirements for all outgoing campaigns; analyzing requirements for campaign execution; maintaining a monthly queue of requests; quality assurance of campaigns; executing and launching final product
- Provide constructive data-driven feedback to Marketing on campaign effectiveness and areas for optimization.
- Provide leadership to internal and external teams by setting clear expectations and direction, delegating tasks and fostering collaboration across business units
- Coordinate and manage multiple work streams (and improve upon process optimizations) while ensuring transparency to key stakeholders, and driving successful results.
- Oversee project plans, delivery dates, budget implications, and delegate responsibilities to corresponding team members
- Provide operational support / manage operational escalations for marketing ops with cross-functional partners
- Encourage team communication, both within core team and across team leads
- Organize and support cross functional meetings to ensure all stakeholders are involved in current discussions and receive clear guidelines on appropriate next steps
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years experience in project management, operations, and /or marketing
- Knowledge of specific marketing and campaign processes strongly preferred
- Understanding of foundational project management skills required – the ability to collect, analyze and implement all requirements within tight timelines preferred
- Attention to detail oriented and the ability to communicate well
- Quick problem solving skills to address roadblocks and production issues required
- High comfort level with building and maintaining positive cross functional relationships

Pay Range: $65,000 – $200,000
