Job Description
Summary:
- Reporting to the Senior Director of Integrate Marketing, the Email Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing email campaigns for our company. This includes creating HTML templates, coding dynamic content, and ensuring that all emails are compliant with industry regulations.
- The Email Developer will also work closely with the marketing team to gather requirements, brainstorm ideas, and track campaign performance.
- This is a Hybrid position where you will work in the Administrative Irvine office 3 days/week and from your home office 2 days/week.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HTML email templates that are visually appealing and responsive across all devices and meet the company’s brand standards.
- Work with clients to understand their needs and develop creative concepts.
- Code dynamic content into email templates, such as images, videos, and forms.
- Ensure that all emails are compliant with industry standards, such as CAN-SPAM.
- Work closely with the marketing team to gather requirements, brainstorm ideas, and execute email marketing campaigns.
- Test and debug email campaigns before they are sent out to subscribers.
- Track the performance of email campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations with other systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve email delivery issues.
- Work with IT to create data extensions and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with other team members including designers, developers, and marketing professionals.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
Knowledge/Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in email development.
- Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript required.
- Experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud products, including Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, etc.
- Experience with highly regulated industries preferred, but is not required.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud concepts and functionality.
- Strong knowledge of best practices of HTML email development and testing platforms.
- Email template management.
- Data list management.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of call center integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 5 & Photoshop Illustrator preferred.
- Has a strong understanding of digital design principles, as well as experience in working with a variety of design software.
- Proficiency with suite of MS Office programs and presentation skills.
Salary:
- $73,954 – $107,223
