Responsibilities
- Support a wide range of employee benefits and compensation matters
- Advise with respect to employee benefits, compensation, corporate, tax, and ERISA implications of the Company’s compensatory arrangements, plans policies and benefit programs
- Support General Counsel in matters related to the Company’s Benefits Committee and Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors
- Assist in design and drafting of agreements, plans, policies, and other documents relating to compensation and employee benefits
- Support the development of communications directed to employees, including executives, other key management and unionized employees with regard to benefits and compensation
- Provide counsel on various employee benefits matters arising in connection with the Company’s unionized employees and pursuant to applicable collective bargaining agreements
- Assist on employee benefits matters in connection with international employees
- Monitors and analyze regulatory developments and best practices in ERISA, Affordable Care Act, HIPAA, COBRA, fiduciary responsibilities and other compliance areas and advising internally on their impact on the business and our clients
- Review and negotiate benefit vendor contracts (and coordinate review with internal stakeholders such as corporate legal, information security, privacy, risk management)
- Support benefit plan audits
- Assist the Company in other potential corporate projects
Qualifications
- J.D. degree at accredited law school
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits and compensation work (law firm or in-house)
- Good standing with a state bar
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

Salary Range: $137,700- $186,300
Financial offer within the stated range is contingent on the qualification of selected candidates
