Job Summary:
The GoodRx Internal Communications & Engagement team is responsible for elevating the employee experience and connecting employees to our mission and business through robust communication strategies and storytelling designed to inform, engage, and inspire employees. The team is small, but mighty and supports executive leadership, HR Centers of Excellence and other functional departments across the company to create and deliver compelling, timely and relevant employee communications, events and initiatives that enhance our company culture.
Role Overview
The Employee Communications & Engagement Manager will develop and execute a wide range of internal communications projects and campaigns that engage and inspire GoodRx employees. Reporting to the Senior Director, Internal Communications & Engagement, the Manager will help lead internal communications programming and planning as well as engagement initiatives from conception to completion, with a focus on Human Resources, as well as other key business functions within the organization.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer and strategic communicator who is able to quickly establish effective working relationships, draft content and plans and implement with various partners throughout the organization. They have a strong track record of developing effective internal communications and a demonstrated ability to work with confidential information, and an uncompromising eye for quality and detail while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
• Manage communication needs from HR partners and advise and guide them on plans and tactics that contribute to the employee experience and business needs.
• Develop and implement strategic employee communication plans that are creative, inspiring and help contribute to a positive employee experience.
• Develop and write a wide range of creative internal communications deliverables -including newsletter articles, emails, editorial content, presentations, Q&A – to engage and inform employees through a mix of channels.
• Create and manage company-wide internal communications editorial calendar, ensuring timely development and execution of targeted communications including executive messages, strategic business updates, people-related communications, organizational announcements, and more.
• Use metrics, data, and related insights to help drive internal programs and activities and gain insight on how our internal communication channels are working and where improvements are needed for a more seamless user experience.
• Support internal communications channel strategy as well as day-to-day implementation, including digital signage, newsletter, and intranet communications.
• Assist with developing, pitching, and executing internal events (All Hands meetings, AMA sessions, videos, etc.) and employee engagement activities.
• Participates on cross-functional teams to offer communications best practices and guidance
Qualifications
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with maturity and confidence in working with colleagues at all levels of the organization
• Ability to translate complex concepts and ideas into concise and engaging content for a variety of audiences and voices
• Well organized and trustworthy with a high level of discretion
• Proficient in the Google suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc), PowerPoint/Keynote and other technology solutions for communication needs
• Ability to think innovatively and creatively; to ideate, iterate and try new things, and change course, if necessary, to achieve desired results
• A proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple assignments, deadlines and changing priorities.
• Able to think strategically, but also able to work tactically to accomplish goals
• Adept at using and experimenting with communication technologies and has experience maximizing digital content in various forms across a variety of communication channels.
• Ability to plan and coordinate internal campaigns and events
• Experience creating and implementing projects from start to finish, coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Maintain expertise in new communications platforms. Identify trends and implement best practices for strategic communications.
• Bonus: experience with MailChimp or other internal email delivery software/applications
Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, and education or certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications. Below are our salary ranges for this position based on office location:
Santa Monica: $80,000-$128,000
