Description
JOB SCOPE: Will provide supervision and guidance to the Employment Specialist. Will meet the Employment Specialist on a weekly basis. Will carry a caseload of SMI clients who are looking for employment. Will spend approximately three full days a week scouting the establishments for employment opportunities for our clients. Within a rehabilitation and recovery orientation, will provide group and individual counseling as well as case management services to clients with serious mental illness. Will work on a multi-disciplinary team (s) to provide a full range of program services, including skills acquisition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Will oversee, guide and assist the Employment Specialist
- Provide intake assessment and individual recovery planning to eligible consumers.
- Provides Employment Services to consumers.
- Complete job development in the community which will result in the development of a network of employers and job opportunities.
- Provides individual and group counseling and case management services to consumers.
- Concurrent documentation
- Carry a caseload of clients as determined.
- Maintain case records including completing progress notes and treatment plans.
- Ensures all relevant case-related information is inputted into case files.
- Coordinate service delivery for clients.
- Lead or co-leads groups.
- Provide and/or assure that each case assigned receives regular contact as needed.
- Provide case management services.
- Create program linkages for participants’ support services.
- Attend and participate in program meetings and case conferences.
- Provide coverage in other staff’s absence.
- Participate in individual and group supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9AM to 5PM
Salary: $60,000 annually

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- LMHC/LMSW preferred.
- BA Degree in Mental Health discipline or related field.
- Minimum one (1) year experience working in a social service agency, rehabilitation program, psychiatric residence, or similar setting.
