What you’ll do:As Senior Data Scientist, you’ll be responsible for mastering our data and working closely with the product team to design applied data science products which enable us to use it most effectively. You’ll be exploring, developing, and implementing machine learning and predictive analytics models that meet the needs of millions of agents, brokers, home buyers, and sellers. Your role will involve working as a part of a team of talented data scientists, engineers, product managers and designers to investigate new data sources, perform data modeling, and deploy new features.Your skills, accomplishments, & interests:
- PhD degree or Masters degree with 1+ years professional experience in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics or related analytical field or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Strong problem solving and communication skills!
- Proven expertise of data science, machine learning fundamentals, and statistical knowledge
- Solid understanding of Python (or similar) for statistical analysis, modeling and visualization (pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, etc)
- Expertise with a range of machine learning modeling techniques such as: Linear Regression, Random Forest, GBM, XGboost, GLM, SVM etc.
Nice to haves:
- Project-related AWS experience using SageMaker, Athena, S3, EC2, lambda functions, step functions, cloud formation
- Experience with Airflow pipeline workflow automation
- Experience with MLOps approach to implementing production-grade pipelines
- Experience and knowledge of residential real estate data
