Your impact as a Health Solutions Commercial Analytics – Senior Consultant

What a day will look like:

  • Serve as the analytics engagement manager for high-profile clients, partners and projects
  • Present analytics modeling results and recommendations and apply analytics models to employer benefit plans, carriers and vendors
  • Manage project scope, client onboarding process, timelines and deliverables of both ongoing client specific projects as well as large scale solution development efforts
  • Work with internal partners across analytics, actuarial and data science, and business functions to develop, scale analytics capabilities or incubate pilot engagements
  • Assist the team in sales situations, representing the financial scope of work
  • Assist in solution roll-out including creating training material and conducting regional and national trainings
  • Mentor and develop regional talent to support new solutions delivery
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of firm-wide products and technology, and have a thorough understanding of how they create value for clients

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

Required Qualification:

  • 4+ years of experience working in health insurance or benefits consulting industry in consulting and/or product development functions
  • Ability to present complex analytics topics to a variety of audience members and knowledge levels
  • Experience working with external vendors, clients, and leadership
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral presentation skills
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and related privacy standards
  • Ability to work in teams and be flexible to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Ability to delegate and prioritize work across members of a team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Knowledge of visualization tools such as PowerBI/Tableau or Carrier and Datawarehouse reporting systems

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience with medical claims, pharmacy claims, eligibility and program participation data
  • Familiarity with predictive modeling concepts
  • Experience with return-on-investment or cost model development
  • ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) designation or actuarial exam record is a plus

The salary for this position is $105,000-$155,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location
