The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Engineering Technical Specialist (Mid-Level and Senior) to support Boeing Global Services in Hazelwood, MO. As an Engineering Tech Specialist, you will have the responsibility of developing operations and optimizing the GTE’s workforce strategy . You will collaborate closely with engineering leaders, finance, program management, and HR to identify and implement a portfolio of process enhancements. In addition, you will be expected to educate business stakeholders and product teams on newly established LRBP processes and procedures .

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and validate engineering staffing demand and forecasts.
  • Lead and support staffing and retention initiatives for BGS Engineering.
  • Lead annual evaluation of opportunities, develops resource forecasts, and coordinate long range business plans.
  • Document best practices and facilitate implementation of staffing tools, processes and standards.
  • Identify metrics and KPIs to track operational and financial performance
  • Compile data from multiple sources and develops executive performance reports

This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Contracts & Proposals
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning Staffing
  • Experience with Excel/Dashboard

Typical Education/ Experience:

(Mid-Level)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).

(Senior Level)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range (Mid-Level): $84,150- $113,850

Summary Pay Range (Senior): $102,000- $138,000
