Job Description
We are on the search for a detail-oriented English-to-Spanish Translator to join our growing team. Reporting to the Senior Proofreader, you will work closely on our existing products and new initiatives, have the opportunity to help shape our product direction, and see your work have a real-world impact.
You must be proficient in basic and advanced grammar rules in both English and Spanish and understand how to translate with consistency. You must communicate effectively with team members to ensure documents meet all company guidelines.
**This is a full-time, temporary remote position.**
- Read the given material and research industry-specific terminology
- Translate content from English to Spanish
- Ensure consistency in grammar, structure, punctuation, and other copy guidelines
- Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools
- Work closely with graphic designers and proofreaders on a variety of assets
- Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
- Assist with cross-functional department tasks
- Follow up with internal team members to ensure the translation is accurate and consistently
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Translator
- Native fluency in Spanish and English; comfortable with American Spanish
- Excellent grammar and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Solid organizational and time management skills with the proven ability to track work progress
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and complete assignments on agreed deadlines
- Proficiency in computer programs, such as Google Docs and Slack
- Experience working with graphic design elements is a plus
Additional Information
Level All does not provide work authorization and/or visa sponsorship.
Compensation range: $30 – $40 / hour. This represents the expected compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining an offer, we will consider location, skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors.
