From Boysenberry Festival to Peanuts Celebration, Merry Farm to Scary Farm, Knott’s is looking for talented individuals with theatrical, concert, corporate, and A/V install experience in audio systems and sound reinforcement to join our Entertainment Audio Team. The Entertainment Audio team primarily installs, programs, integrates, and supports seasonal events, working hand in hand with the Tech Operations team to ensure reliable day operation.

How You’ll Make A Difference:
- Install, clean, repair, and maintain various temporary and permanent audio systems throughout the park.
- Program and troubleshoot issues with show control/audio software, like Q-Sys, Q-Lab and Dante.
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of basic audio issues during day-to-day operations.
- Strike and properly store all show elements and equipment.
- Read, understand and implement plans and blueprints.
- Operate Electric carts, forklifts, and various aerial lifts.
- Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
- Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
We’re Looking For:
Knowledge of digital and analog consoles and audio systems.
Knowledge of audio over IP, DSP, and show control systems such as Q-Sys, Dante, and Q-Lab.
Q-Sys Level 1 Certification
Experience mixing, equalizing and routing multiple audio sources to various outputs.
Thorough understanding of microphone selection and placement.
Understanding of network processing and signal flow.
Basic computer (Microsoft Office suite) and communication skills.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- 1 – 2 Years Related Experience
- Professional Theater and concert systems, as well as A/V systems installation
- At Least 18 Years of Age
- Some College
- Theatrical or Audio Production
