As an Entertainment Coordinator, you will:
- Entertainment Coordinator plan events/activities for the department or company, arranging the associated entertainments or activities. They plan all aspects of the entertainment, such as purchasing necessary equipment and arranging transportation.
- Uphold the resort’s standards by maintaining high levels of professionalism, guest satisfaction, attendance and positive attitude
- Plan, coordinate and execute daily, weekly, and monthly resort entertainment.
- Conduct adult and children’s activities
- Host Entertaining parties, Activities and Events around the resort
- Partner with the excursion team to create new guest experience ideas
- Create an upbeat, energetic, fun environment
- Be responsible for enforcing safety rules with guests
- Implement new ideas and games
- Marketing & advertising the entertainment or activity – coordinate or design fliers, phone blast and any other in-house marketing.
- Other duties within the water park and activities department may be assigned
- The ability to present orally or using visual aids to a group or individual
- Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for activities/events to include photos of setup, equipment with the details of anything that you needed to purchase for activity or event.
- Creating an Emergency Action Plan for the performed events and coordinate with the Security Department on property.
- Evaluate the overall satisfaction of the event attendees using surveys or listening to feedback.
- Participate in any video/picture or promotional marketing campaign
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Additionally, the person must possess and adhere to the following core values:

- Applicable experience as an emcee or host for weddings, hotels, resorts, cruise ships, and similar venues is preferred.

- Applicable theatre background/knowledge is preferred.
- Be able to execute basic office and management tasks.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Additional Information
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts
