Due to growth, we are adding a Project Manager to organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization’s research, development, and product implementation efforts. This position plays a key role in providing telecom equipment and facilities to our customer-specific specifications.

What you will be contributing:

  • Work independently with Operation Managers and Subcontractors in Refurb, HVAC, Field Services, Electrical and Logistics Depts. for scheduling of labor resources to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Engage with the purchasing department to order and/or ensure that the correct materials for projects are available, on time, and within budget.
  • Create project scope plans including all tasks involved with the project and delegate accordingly.
  • Coordinates with the estimating team and provides accurate estimates for projects to other departments as requested.
  • Communicates regularly with Subcontractors and Vendors to obtain favorable pricing and ensure deliverables meet expected timeframes; ensures subcontractors’ quality and safety are to CSS standards.
  • Ensures all costs are accounted for to complete the project per customer specifications.
  • Makes sure pricing meets company standards for margins
  • Works closely with the AR/AP team to ensure project invoicing is up to date and paid by the client.
  • Regularly conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
  • Engages with company and industry safety standards.
  • Working hard with team members to achieve company goals.
  • Ability to read blueprints and/or follow work orders.

  • Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
  • Reviews and reports progress to the customer following their closeout requirements and requests.
  • Performs customer follow-up on outstanding projects.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, is preferred.
  • At least three years of related experience required.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable.
  • Some travel required

Salary Description

$50,000 – $90,000 Annually
