This role will support Operations Management Process Development Team in the creation of various reports requirements for DHCS. The candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of claims processing, and the use of various operating systems for data SQL queries for QA and UAT testing. Here are the details on this position.
Your role in our mission
- Help coordinate a business analyst team’s duties and activities on EPC processing projects.
- Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements and expected impact.
- Help verify that all requirements have been met by approving and validating test results.
- Exercise your ability to use basic analytical or relational database software – such as Excel or SQL – to quantify the anticipated impact of work.
- Utilize your resourcefulness and abilities to devise creative solutions to problems.
What we’re looking for
- 3 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position with 1 or more years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred. An in-depth knowledge of Denti-Cal Claims Processing is required.
- Advanced knowledge in analytical software to gather, review and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise between various business departments and groups using your ability to identify and communicate with key stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data and problem solve; assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling.
- Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations. Requires experience with QA and UAT testing and mapping various business processes and protocols; collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams.
What you should expect in this role
- Must be a resident of the state of California.
- Hybrid work environment 1-2 days a week in the office as needed for face-to-face and client meetings with the remainder of time remote work. The office is located in Roseville, CA.
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews.

The pay range for this position is $44,200.00 – $63,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
