An Entry-Level Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have Bachelor”s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline. In this job, you will support design for tooling for building aircraft engines.
Job Duties:
• Support equipment design and development
• Design, including concept sketches and layouts
• Preparation of specifications and design calculations
• Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by subordinate engineers, designers, and vendors
• Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors.
• Presenting engineering design review presentations
Required:
• BS or MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline
• Skilled with Microsoft Office tools and possess some knowledge of modeling and analysis using one or more tools
• Knowledge of industry standard practices and project organization; task supervision by
• design/drafting personnel.
• Experience with stress analysis, technical writing, and manufacturing process
• Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication abilities
• Legal authorization to work in the US required and has or able to get security clearance
Preferred:
• Experience with NX or other modeling software
• Experience with ANSYS
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $58,000 to $62,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
