Entry-level Enterprise Applications IT Analyst
Position Overview

Entry-level Enterprise Applications IT Analysts will work alongside other experienced Cognizant associates delivering technology solutions. You will work on becoming subject matter experts on the supported applications and will contribute to key technical processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Preferred majors include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems (including CIS or MIS)
- Have internship or academic experience with programming languages and/or modern web technologies like Java, .NET, CRM, CIM (communications information management), SAP, Oracle (ERP implementations – e.g., FMW, EBS, EPM), Salesforce, PEGA, cloud services (e.g., AWS)
- Configure, maintain, upgrade, deploy and install applications and/or application changes in compliance with software development life cycle procedures.
- Responsible for the day to day maintenance of the assigned applications to include providing application support for systems of responsibility (e.g. log and track issues to resolution; perform analysis of issues to either resolve or escalate; identify workarounds where necessary, communicate & coordinate with support teams and internal IT staff)
- Responsible for timely restoration of services and fulfillment of business requests; thereby meeting service level commitments and continuous service improvements
- Self-motivated individuals with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the passion and appetite to learn newer technologies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with global project teams

Digital Customer Experience (DCX) Practice:
The Digital Customer Experience (DCX) practice’s vision is to help clients transform their business into a digital enterprise with a focus on digital customer experience strategy. This practice enables digital, cloud, and customer experience transformations by linking together the business processes of marketing, sales and service functions across various systems. Cognizant’s DCX team helps clients harness cutting-edge technologies to bring more context and intelligence to their customer interactions and helps succeed in the digital era. EAS DCX offers end-to-end transformation services that include advisory services, road map definition, digitization, customer experience optimization, metrics management, and more.
Location(s)
New hires will be deployed to Cognizant office(s) in Dallas-TX or Phoenix-AZ where you will work alongside other experienced Cognizant associates delivering technology solutions. Applicants must be willing to relocate to one of these major geographic areas. While we will attempt to honor candidate location preferences, business need and position availability will determine final location assignment.
Start Date(s)
New hires will largely start in three cohorts; January, June, or August 2023. While we will attempt to honor candidate summer start date preferences, business need and position availability will determine final start date assignment of June or August. Exact start dates will be communicated with enough time for you to plan effectively.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is $70,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
