Role Description:
Arcadis is currently searching for an Environmental Engineer to join our team in Highlands Ranch, CO.
As part of our Resilience Environment team, you’ll help improve quality of life. You will work alongside Senior Scientists, Project/Program Managers, and Technical Experts on various activities in support of diverse environmental assessment and remediation projects. This opportunity is to support our growing emerging contaminant project portfolio and remediation capabilities.
Arcadis provides multiple onboarding and development programs created for our young professionals that will expand professional growth and help drive creativeness, innovation, and greater integration within our local, national, and global teams.
Role accountabilities:
- Engineering design and treatment system optimization support.
- Field and office support which may include drilling oversight for soil sampling and/or groundwater well installation, groundwater sampling, excavation oversight, conducting pilots and full-scale remedial efforts, operation and maintenance of remediation systems, and vapor intrusion/soil gas surveys.
- Environmental remediation design tasks, including soil and groundwater remedial system and remedial design and assessments.
- Assist with design calculations for the selection of treatment technologies and process design drawings for groundwater, industrial, water, and wastewater.
- Assist Project Managers (PMs) and Assistant PMs (APMs) with planning environmental investigation and remediation tasks including site characterization, remedial design, and feasibility studies.
- Office work may include task coordination, data compilation and interpretation, cost estimates, health & safety plan preparation, development of technical reports, presentations, cost-estimates, and proposals, regulatory file review, proposal writing, project strategy development, schedule and budget.
The successful candidate will be team player with a professional growth mindset who demonstrates strict adherence to health and safety procedures. An ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and be self-motivated with independent thinking skills. This role requires the ability to travel up to 75% of the time. Candidates should have substantial experience working with MS Office Software, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional license (EIT and/or GIT)
- OSHA HAZWOPER 40 hr / 8 hr refresher training
- Phase I and Phase II Due Diligence Experience through previous internships or employment

The salary range for this position is $55,900- $83,850.
