SOW: Construction remediation project supporting the USACE at Bonita Peak Mining District Superfund Site!
Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
* MUST be comfortable with travel after October 2023
* 5-6 YOE working as an SSHO on enviornmental projects.
* 2-10+ YOE working on federal projects (USACE, NAVAC, EPA, DoE)
* EM-385 regulations
* Technical Writing expereince
* Environmental project expereince
o Experience with environmental construction project such as: Earth support systems, dewatering of excavations, material handling and transport, water treatment, infrastructure installation and repair, and building abatement and demolition. Experience with abandoned mine reclamation and/or sediment removal.
* OSHA 30, HAZWOPER
Pluses:
* QCM Cert
* First Aid Cert
Responsibilities:
* Assuring compliance with the Site Health and Safety plan and USACE Safety manual.
* Implement, and enforce project Safety Plans/Programs.
* Conduct daily safety meetings with on-site personnel, conducting safety audits, evaluating work activities, and identifying process improvements.
* Ensure worker certifications and trainings are current.
* Create Activity Hazard Analysis’s, maintain records and implement a lessons learned/safety process improvement program.
* Interface with program and project managers, senior technical staff, government customer and project field personnel.
* Monitoring personnel, inspections, storm water controls, and equipment inspections
