Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager to be based out of our San Francisco, California office. This part-time as-needed position within our Environmental Remediation West group will act as a project controls manager, overseeing cost controls, schedule tracking, earned values, and accounting compliance for large remediation projects in collaboration with the client and account teams.
The ideal candidate will possess great attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working as a productive member of a high-performance team.
Role accountabilities:
- Establishing metrics to track project performance.
- Development of business cases required by corporate governance.
- Develop risk assessments and contingency plans to reduce unforeseen costs, in collaboration with client and stakeholders.
- Client and internal account team correspondence
- Support portfolio manager with financial management
- Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders
- May require some regional travel for field visits
This position requires both office and field work, though the candidate may work remotely from home. The successful candidate should expect to be traveling up to 25% of the time to meet with clients and visit project locations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Finance or related field
- 15 years of experience in consulting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working for clients in the power and utility sector

We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start. The salary range for this position is $116000 – 200100 / year.
