Description:We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Test Associate Manager to join our Team! The candidate will be joining the Ground Element Independent Test Team as a leader of approximately 6 engineers responsible for the integration, testing and deploying of software and hardware products as an integral component of a larger, complex system across multiple contracts throughout the full software lifecycle.
• Looking for a candidate to be both a technical lead for the Ground Software Test Team in its transition to DevOps as well as a developer of code to expand our automated test suite.
• Daily tasks will include assignment of tasks to engineers, moderating peer reviews, tracking progress on test development and impacting SW issues, mentoring team members, developing software solutions to automate software testing.
• The selected candidate will work with the Test Manager to lead the team of engineers with defining test plans for the transition to DevOps, tracking issues through successful Test Readiness Reviews and Test Review Board milestones, team progress on tasks, briefing charts and more.
• This Position will be responsible for developing and executing automated test procedures, defining objective validation methods, integrating products as part of a large ground system, troubleshooting errors, and working closely with System and Software engineers as part of an agile like team.
• This position will require strong organizational, written and communication skills. Candidate will be interacting with engineers on the team and across teams daily.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with at least one modern programming language: C/C++, Java, Python
-Linux OS background/Experience developing in a Linux environment
-Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues/challenges with minimal direction
– Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
– Excellent team orientation
Desired Skills:
-Demonstrated proficiency in Python, C++, and/or Java
-Understanding/Experience in a DEVOPS
-Experience working with multiple development teams
-Experience or knowledge on Eggplant or other test automation products
– Excellent communicator, with experience presenting to executive leadership and external customers
– Experience on agile technical teams to closure on a tight schedule and budget
– Experience working through full test cycle a plus
– Leadership experience a plus

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $105,000 – $201,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
