The Transparency, Partnerships & Engagement team is seeking an experienced and results-oriented ESG Reporting Analyst to support the development of Amazon’s annual Sustainability Report, from strategy through execution, including timeline and budget management, content collection, drafting, report layout and design, reviews, agency management, and overall project management.
This role frequently and professionally communicates with both internal and external stakeholders and requires proficiency with ESG reporting, as well as software, tools, best practices related to project management, and balancing multiple cross-functional dependencies.
An ideal candidate will demonstrate deep understanding of ESG reporting trends, and innovative solutions to raise the bar for ESG reporting at Amazon. In addition, this person should be able to effectively apply project management techniques to plan, manage, organize, and deliver project goals.
This role will particularly suit candidates with strong interpersonal skills, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to complete complex projects according to scope, budget, and timeline.
Ownership of work is extremely important, and candidates should have a proven record of managing projects to their completion. At the core of the position is high attention to detail and the ability to deliver high quality results on time.
Key job responsibilities
• Support strategy development, drafting, and publication of Amazon’s annual Sustainability Report
• Work closely with internal partners across the company on sustainability and ESG-related reporting
• Set up and actively manage detailed project plans with multiple workstreams in Asana to track progress towards key project milestones, workstreams, and activities.
• Help define and maintain operational project budget and project success metrics
• Track project progress toward project success metrics, develop project status updates, and provide regular reports on project status (flash reports) to team and key stakeholders;
• Support drafting key communications
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify issues, and devise contingency plans with stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
