Role: Oracle Essbase and FDMEE Lead

Location: New York, NY

Relevant Experience: 6-8 Years

Job Description:

As a Essbase and FDMEE Lead, you will be a part of a team responsible for Batch Support, On Call Support, Production Incidents, Root Cause Analysis, Problem Management, and Ad hoc requests. While each team member has a primary skill set, they are also expected to learn and contribute to areas outside of their primary skill set. The team is highly collaborative and values continuous improvement and open communication. You will be expected to be a well-regarded and respected individual contributor; possess strong inter-personal skills, as well as proven track record of application development with skills in Java, distributed cache technology and building scalable robust systems. In return you will have opportunity to gain exposure to designing, developing, and deploying applications to the internal/external cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in KT sessions and develop detailed application understanding documents.
  • Work on Batch Support, On Call Support, Production Incidents, Root Cause Analysis, Problem Management, Ad hoc requests.
  • Analyze code segments to come up with explanations for different business use-cases.
  • Deliver enhancement requests, review code and unit tests for accuracy and functionality.
  • Create and implement design documents for enhancement items.
  • Enrich documentation for Batch Job and Applications.
  • Ability to manage dependencies of multiple initiatives that will impact Essbase
  • Good at ServiceNow usage and tracking requests
  • Good at MS Teams/SharePoint to manage forms, access, and governance.
  • Experience in Optimization of Essbase applications/Cubes
  • Ability to develop, implement and maintain Essbase & FDMEE modules and business process flows.
  • Excellent functional background including finance and account experience.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with internal and external technical support providers
  • Ability to research application and service logs to troubleshoot application issues.
  • Executing/Monitoring the data/batch loads and fixing the issues if any during the data loads
  • Work on updating the mappings as required.
  • Work on updating the parameters.
  • Monitoring the Data loads across cubes
  • Create/update data aggregation rules as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years’ experience in Essbase and FDMEE
  • Experience managing support team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience/knowledge with other Hyperion applications like HFM & DRM
  • Sound knowledge of EPM Cloud

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $91,000/Year to $128,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
