Misericordia University invites applicants for the Ethnic Minorities and Women’s Sports Information Internship. Available: 2023-24 and 2024-25.
The primary responsibility of the intern in sports information is to assist the Sports Information Director in all facets of publicity related to the University’s varsity sports, including the production of publications, writing press releases and post-game stories, updating the athletics department website, compiling team statistics and assisting with game day operations.
Salary: $30,000 annually for 10 months plus an additional $5,000 institution funded in-kind gift.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university with a degree in Communications, Journalism, Sport Management or a related field preferred.
