Job Title: ETL Talend Developer
Job summary
– Minimum 8+ yrs. of relevant experience and masters degree preferably either in Business analytics finance mathematics
– Excellent skills in analyzing data gathering requirements and working with clients and technical teams to translate requirements into solution.
– Experienced IT professional working on large data and reporting applications possessing a strong understanding of Operational data stores Data Warehouses and/or Data Marts
– Ability to understand the meaning of the data. Experience7 to 10 yrs.
Required Technical Skills- Data Mart TALEND ETL SQL Developer Data Modeler
Domain Skills- Nice to have. Technical Skills- PL/SQL Data Ware Housing Testing Tableau Databricks ER Modeling DB scripting. Domain Skills- Technology. Data Management
Roles & Responsibilities

– Experienced IT professional working on large data and reporting applications possessing a strong understanding of Operational data stores Data Warehouses and/or Data Marts
– Ability to understand the meaning of the data and work cohesively with business to leverage it for better and advanced insights. Domain knowledge with accounting and financial data sets is essential (Strong understanding of financial concepts – e.g.: loan /equity accounting treasury trades SAP GL data )
– Excellent analytical problem solving and logical reasoning skills with high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
– Should have participated in data implementation efforts with exposure to relational database concepts ETL fundamentals transaction processing and testing protocols
– Proficient in the use of PL/SQL and ability to read data models infer data flows and write reasonably complex queries to analyze data and extract for analytic needs
– Hands on experience with reporting tools (like Power BI SAP BO Tableau)
– Familiarity in using agile tools such as Azure devops
– Strong project management skills with a process orientation (understand problem do analysis interview stakeholders write requirements get sign off hand off to dev coordinate UAT etc.) and ability to leverage Agile concepts – Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 – 120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
