ETV Production Crewmember
Pay: $21.67+ per hour, DOQ
Part-Time Recurring (Year-Round), Not Benefit Eligible
3-10 hours per week based on needs

We are looking for video professionals who love communicating, live TV, and doing it all on a deadline. As a Production Crewmember you’ll be part of a team creating live broadcasts of high school sports, city meetings, and other community events. You’ll also shoot, write, and edit videos for our cable channels and social media.
Essential Position Functions
- Serve in various production positions including Cameraperson, Technical Director, Audio, Replay, Graphics, and Grip for multi-camera productions
- Shoot single-camera videos for community event coverage
- Write scripts and edit video for stories on ETV’s channels and social media accounts
- Direct or run audio and/or graphics for city meetings
- Assist with the setup and tear down of on-location productions including cameras, sets, lights, and audio
Minimum Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to report to multiple job locations in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications:
- Broadcast, community TV, or video production experience
- Experience shooting, writing, and editing short video stories
- Experience/familiarity with Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
- Experience/familiarity with Granicus or similar livestream video systems
- Experience operating MS Windows systems
- Comfort working with all levels of City officials and business leaders
- Demonstrable knowledge of basic live video production techniques including troubleshooting technical problems
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to enter information into computers and/or character generators quickly, using correct spelling, grammar, and accurate content information
- Working knowledge of picture composition; knowledge of white balance, zoom, focus, and video levels
- Ability to take direction and act as a member of a production team
- Ability to tell a story visually
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well function as part of a team
- Ability to adhere to quality production standards
Physical demands
Ability to sit, stand, walk, speak/talk, write, and hear. Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds. The individual must be able to occasionally climb, balance, bend, stoop, and kneel. Adequate vision to perform the essential functions of the job; specifically includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment and Hours:
Employees are expected to be available to work primarily late afternoons and evenings, and occasional weekend hours. Other hours are occasionally requested but are infrequent. May be required to report for duty on short notice in extenuating circumstances. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; in high, precarious places; and in outdoor weather conditions.
