As a Community Supports Network (CSN) employee, you will have an opportunity to be part of a team that supports people with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health needs to increase their independence and develop their talents and skills to reach personalized goals and improve their quality of life. When doing this, you become the teacher and learner all at the same time. Areas of support that your team will focus on often include; community involvement, job skills, education, physical & behavioral health, and daily living skills.
Available Shifts: Full-Time and Part-Time available. Evenings and Weekends available. Flexible schedule. Typical shift times are 8am-3pm, 3pm-10pm, 10pm overnight to 8am
We provide around-the-clock support to our clients every day of the week, so we can help build a schedule that’s right for YOU! We have part-time and full-time positions available. Some of our overnight shifts are asleep, some are awake depending on location. Can be paid daily through DailyPay. Pay is up to $16.00/hour, depending on knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Direct Support Professional Duties and Responsibilities: As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support and mentor adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in learning the skills needed to increase their independence in areas of life such as community involvement, job skills, education, personal health, and daily living skills. Examples of what you will do include:
- Assist with daily tasks/chores like cooking, cleaning, medication management
- Support individuals to practice and maintain good hygiene
- Run errands such as shopping and going to appointments
- Encourage and foster individuals’ hobbies and interests
- Provide habilitation & documentation
- Follow health & safety protocols
Direct Support Professional Requirements:
- Applicant must be 19 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle to transport clients during shift (if needed)
- Ability to pass all background checks
- Excellent attendance and punctuality and the ability to achieve and maintain training and certifications which require a full range of motion and physical strength
Knowledge, Skills, Experience (NOT REQUIRED just nice to have!): We provide free in-service training, however, experience with any of the following is always nice to have!
- Experience with IDD – Intellectual or developmental disabilities

*The hiring bonus is paid in 3 installments: $200- First paycheck following completion of initial two-week training, $300- 3 months of employment and all training complete, $500- 6 months of employment. Applicants previously employed by CSN within the past 6 months are not eligible for this bonus.
