Job Description

Operate and maintain a variety of permanent and mobile audio/video/lighting systems throughout the sports park stadiums, arenas, meeting spaces, and other venues in support of sporting events and non-sporting events. These systems include video/graphics boards, audio systems, scoring and timing systems, house lighting, specialty lighting, and communication systems.

Review and establish as necessary the operating processes and procedures of sport and non-sport event technology within an athletic environment that continually grows in scope and complexity.

Participates in primary event management planning and consultation to ensure the availability, preparation, and utilization of audio/video/lighting systems for athletic events and functions.

Routinely consults with coaches and athletics staff to facilitate the effective establishment and use of necessary and experience enhancing audio/video/lighting technology for sporting and other athletic events.

Collaborates and coordinates with the other Mizzou Sports Technology groups in order to efficiently and effectively accomplish the broad functions of technology within athletics.

Other job related duties as required.

Salary

Salary is commensurate with education and experience

Salary Range: $15.75 – $27.42

GGS Grade: 7

Shift

8:00-5:00 Monday-Friday, evenings and weekends as required by sporting events.

Minimum Qualifications

An Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of NCAA and SEC rules
