Overview
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (including, but not limited to):
Learn the pre-event activities including preparation of work orders, scheduling staff, coordinating setup, and preparing event estimates with the support of the Event Manager.
Attend meetings with clients to ensure all details are accounted for prior to their event.
Assist with on-site client interaction from set-up through the events conclusion.
Aid the Event Manager with last minute requests from clients and/or staff.
Learn to provide exceptional customer service for all clients and event types.
Help oversee contracted Event Staff and all venue security needs prior to and during events.
Assist with the scheduling of contracted Event Staff per event.
Act as the main point-of-contact for the facility from start to finish on assigned events.
Complete post-event recap reports to aid knowledge for future similar events.
This role will pay an Hourly wage of $17.00 to $20.00.

Responsibilities
FACILITY RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
Shadow different activities within the other departments (operations, food & beverage, etc.) to gain a full understanding of facility management.
Attend weekly staff meetings and other beneficial meetings as needed.
Become familiar with the corporate company and expectations of staff.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate student/ undergraduate in Business Studies, Hospitality Management or related field who is interested in pursuing a career in facility management will be considered
Previous experience with facility management, operations, marketing, or business
Availability to work at least 20-32 hours per week including nights and weekends
Applicants must be willing to get involved in projects with varying degrees of difficulty, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service oriented, professional, and able to participate during normal business hours, nights, and weekends based on event calendar.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Photoshop.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.
Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
