The Role:
We are looking for an Event Server who can work events during the week, night, and weekends. If you demonstrate the ability to help with set up, tear down, and bussing/cleaning dishes we would love to meet you!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Read BEO and know how to complete a set-up.
- Set tables in the assigned area correctly and uniformly.
- Keep the station neat and clean while servicing guests per established policies and procedures.
- Use proper in-room clearing and aisle tray break-down buffet or other special food service tales and equipment.
- Assist the Events Manager in setting up/tearing down buffet or other special food service tables and equipment.
- Greet and serve guests following guidelines set by the policies/ procedures regarding the service of food and beverage.
- Complete assigned side work.
- Remains attentive to the customers throughout the entire dining experience, adhering to or exceeding service standards at all times.
Desired skills and qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar position of 3 months or longer, preferred.
- High school education or equivalent
- Knowledge of customer service principles, food service function, and restaurant and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work flexible shifts to consist of mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure.
