PCSI is looking for an Executive Housekeeper to lead our environmental services contract at Evans Army Community Hospital! The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing operations of the contract and providing a positive team environment for approximately 70 housekeeping staff and supervisors. This role involves ensuring compliance with the contract, evaluating staff, and collaborating effectively with government officials, union representatives, and PCSI corporate departments.
The Executive Housekeeper will need to have a very strong understanding of environmental services and demonstrated leadership experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Account Manager over housekeeping in a large medical facility. This position typically works a day shift, but may need to be available weekends or holidays as needed.
Benefits Include:
- Base pay of $90,000-95,000 depending upon experience.
- Annual bonus of up to 8%.

What You’ll Do as Executive Housekeeper:
- Coordinate directly and through subordinates, the operation of the housekeeping department.
- Supervise the housekeeping staff including supervisors and hourly employees.
- Interview and hire the housekeeping staff, review job performance and recommend salary or status changes.
- Conduct disciplinary actions with the help of the HR Department.
- Provide training to employees to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with company, state, federal policies and procedures.
- Establish schedules of work tasks, manpower utilization and equipment efficiency.
- Maintain and prepare budget, accounting, purchasing, and personnel reports and documents.
- Ensure that employees meet required quality standards by providing inspections and trainings; may be required to work closely with the QCM and inspectors to resolve issues.
- Provide leadership in conducting tasks required to achieve adherence to PCSI’s quality goals and ISO standards.
- Conduct periodic staff and employee meetings.
- Ensure that all work is done safely and within the guidelines, as provided by the Health and Safety Director.
- Manage customer relationships and contract requirements.
- Resolve issues, coordinate requests and establish processes to ensure customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
- High school diploma or GED, college experience preferred.
- Minimum of (5) years of relative experience with 2 years of experience in housekeeping and 3 years of management experience.
- Requires intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and PC functions.
- Must be CEH or REH certified through the International Executive Housekeepers Association or certified through the American Healthcare Environment as a Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience leading quality and safety procedures.
- Ability to assist and communicate with others as needed and establish effective working relationships.
- Ability to function and interface with all levels of management.
- Ability to read and understand the “Material Safety Data Sheets” (MSDS) for all chemicals and solutions used during working hours.
- Ability to work as a team member and independently to complete daily tasks.
- Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability and willingness to exert disciplinary action as needed.
- Ability to interpret policies, procedures and regulations, including Medicare, City, State, and Federal regulatory agency requirements.
- Ability to set and manage priorities.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal direction and supervision.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass credit, criminal, drug, and driving screening
- Ability to be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
- Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
- Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
- If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
