Job Overview :

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking an intermittent paralegal to serve in the Office of Contracts and Procurement. As a Paralegal/Legal Assistant , under the general direction of a licensed attorney, your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and formatting legal documents including contracts, grants, inter-agency agreements, and data sharing agreements
  • Conducting legal research
  • Drafting legal memoranda
  • Performing procurement market research
  • Preparing necessary exhibits, attachments, and enclosures as necessary to complete the finished product

Qualifications
Successful completion of certification program for paralegal or legal assistant; 2 yrs. exp. in legal research & writing.

– Or 24 mos. law school training.

– Or 36 mos. exp. as Paralegal/Legal Assistant 1, 63810.

– Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
