Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking an Extract, Translate, and Load (ETL) Software Enginee r to join their software development team.
Work Location(s): Annapolis Junction, MD
What you will do:
- Provide software development and technical services to support the Analytic and Engagement Applications (AEA)
- Develop ETL processes to retrieve and deliver data across multiple persistence technologies in a performant manner
- Understand and ensure corporate compliance rule sets are upheld
- Develop and deploy Map/Reduce analytics to the corporate cloud environment
- Connect to outside data sources to retrieve, collate, and cache data
- Write automated unit and integration tests
- Monitor running applications and troubleshooting errors.
Required Experience:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Technical experience with:
- Developing applications using Java
- Developing RESTful Services
- Experience with Bourne Shell or C
- 20+ years’ experience with:
- Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software
- Delegate programming and testing responsibilities to one or more teams and monitoring their performance
- Writing or reviewing software system documentation
Desired Experience:
- Documentation: Agile development, JIRA, technical documentation
- Experience with the following:
- Programing: Java, Linux cmd line
- Infrastructure: Spring Boot, Redis, Git, Maven
- Container Usage: Kubernetes, Helm, Kafka, Restful services
- Ability to work with the customer to interpret requirements
Required Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree

Summary Pay Range: Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
$200,000 – $235,000
