JOB DETAILS
Walk-In-Interviews Monday-Friday 9 am-4 pm
Base Pay: $16.00 per hour, plus $2.50 per hour shift differential
Night Shift: 6 pm-6 am
Shoe Voucher/Reimbursement

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Extrusion Operators visually inspects extruded product for consistent appearance and length according to defined standards.
- Works safely and applies STOP on the job
- General upkeep and 5S of designated area
- Maintain records and data log sheets
- Ensures product is handled in accordance with established standards
- Examines and measures products to verify conformance to standards, using measuring devices, such as templates, gauges or calipers
- Labels scrap carts for color designation
- Maintain a minimum of “satisfactory” on performance reviews
- Acceptable attendance record
- Safety oriented
- Successfully complete MW STOP Program (or equivalent).
- Mathematical and mechanical skills required
- Effective communication (oral and written)
- Ability to work independently and, at times, under direct supervision
- Walks / stands 12 hours. Frequently lifts up to 18 lbs. Occasionally lifts up to 35 lbs. Frequently carries up to 18 lbs; occasionally carries up to 35 lbs. Frequently bends, squats, climbs, kneels, twists, push/pull and reach overhead. Must use hands frequently for grasping, fine manipulation and push/pulling
- Will work in hot and/or dusty environment on concrete floor
- Proficient in use of tape measure

- Operate manufacturing equipment and use hand tools as required
- Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies
- Help ensure co-workers are working safely and following safety requirements
- Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities
- Follow defined clean-up times
- Must follow and work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and Standardized Work
- Participate in defining and improving standard work to improve quality windows for our customers
- Identify problems; communicate issues
- Assist with training co-workers
- Support a respectful workplace
- Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management
- Perform housekeeping duties as needed
- Assist and cover for other workers in different areas as needed
