Position Overview:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Engineering Technical Specialist to support the F-15 Program. This role will be responsible for coordinating with the engineering teams to perform analysis and reporting of cost and schedule metrics against the engineering statement of work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, tracking, and disseminating engineering performance metrics against cost & schedule, developing and maintaining the financial forecast for the engineering statement of work, and developing and maintaining the engineering staffing forecast against the financial forecast.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Gathers data from the Boeing financial system by running reports and/or coordinating with financial analysts
  • Tracks cost/schedule performance of the engineering teams against the baseline or modified plans
  • Prepares and presents detailed cost/schedule performance metric charts for engineering leadership
  • Prepares, maintains, and presents engineering staffing forecasts based on various data sources such as the financial system and proposals
  • Supports the engineering teams with execution recovery planning and recovery plan tracking

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in St. Louis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing, interpreting, preparing and reconciling financial information
  • 1+ year of experience presenting and communicating data in Senior Leadership briefings
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally (engineering, program management, modification team, and/or finance) and across multiple business units (BDS, BGS, BAO, etc.)
  • E xperience, and at least considered an intermediate user, with office tools such Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

  • Experience as a Cost Account Manager, Financial Analysist, or Integrated Scheduler
  • Experience with military aircraft development or production program execution
  • Experience working military aircraft proposals

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.)

Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range for experienced level: $84,150 – $113,850

Summary pay range for senior level: $102,000 – $138,000
