The Boeing F/A-18 Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) organization is seeking a Data Management Specialist to join a dedicated team in Berkeley, MO. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of contractual data deliverables. This is accomplished through: interpretation, loading, scheduling, coordination, receipt, submittal, handling, and working in accordance with data marking compliance requirements. This role requires effective interaction with external customers and suppliers, engineering teams, and other organizations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Documents, implements, provides consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards.
- Provides training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs.
- Ensures regulatory requirements are met. Identifies and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability.
- Provides configuration management, coordinates changes, performs assessments of compliance and handles the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs.
- Represents company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use.
- Develops, maintains and distributes engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity.
- Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs.
- Works under general direction within a closed proprietary environment.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience with Customer Data Management and/or Supplier Data Management
- Prior work experience in a technical or business role
- 3+ years of experience with CDRL loading, forecasting, and tracking in CSDT
- 3+ years of prior work experience with database systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of prior work experience in a technical or business role
- 10+ years of prior work experience with database systems
- Prior data management work experience
- Experience with contracts and documentation
- Familiarity with intellectual property subject matter
Typical Education & Experience:
Experienced (Level 3): Bachelor’s degree and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Subject Matter Expert (Level 5): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years’ related work experience, 19 years’ related work experience, etc.)

Summary pay range for experienced level: $84,150 – $113,850
Summary pay range for senior level: $102,000 – $138,000
Summary pay range for subject matter expert level: $119,850 – $162,150
