Facilities Associate – Modular Setup
Shift: 6:30 am- 2:30 pm
Starting wage up to $23/hr based on experience
Job Details:
• Install new and used modular office systems, wall and office furniture. This includes dismantling and reassembly of existing units.
• Assist in remodeling and rearranging new and existing store fixtures and remote distribution / phone centers.
• Must be able to work a 40-hour week and be available for overtime as business needs arise.
• Must follow all safe work practices, escalate unsafe conditions, and report incidents.
• Install / knowledge of power whips for electrical systems on various modular furniture types.
• Work with IT department for running data cables for furniture reconfigurations.
• Remove and install carpet and base cove at all Lands’ End facilities (on campus and remote sites).
• Assist Facilities Grounds Crew with the snow removal / shoveling of all sidewalks, entryways, emergency exits, fire hydrants and PIV water valves. Be on call and available to work extended hours, seven days a week.
• Keep equipment work logs and mechanical work records as assigned using Excel.
Required Skills:
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Electrical experience preferred
• Basic carpentry skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Basic motor vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostic skills
• Current driver’s license required with acceptable driving record
• Must obtain certification to operate forklifts and all Lands’ End motorized vehicles
