In this role, you will partner with leaders across the organization to develop Production and Cleanroom standard operating procedures, and promote a culture of safety within the R&D and Production environments.
The optimal candidate is an experienced, persistent professional who will excel within an entrepreneurial, innovative culture – providing vision, leadership, and communication – but not afraid to dive into details.
The successful candidate must be comfortable operating on both strategic and tactical levels, simultaneously acting as a visionary, an internal ambassador, educator, analyst, solutions architect, and implementer.
Key job responsibilities
– Conduct Area 5s Audits that cover area specifics, Gemba /and or Cleanroom standards
– Familiar with ISO cleanroom class
– Collaborate with Applications Engineering and other teams to accomplish necessary tasks.
– Manage employee’s industry standards compliance and safety regulations while working in the lab
– Works closely with EHS Team to provide feedback EHS policies and implement procedures
– Establishes quality standards to maintain lab cleanliness, ESD standards, and facility documentation standards
– Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees to support any needed tasks
– Create and implement “best practice”/ playbook for Laboratory facilities operations
– Manage accounting for operating costs, invoicing internal and external departments for services rendered by outside vendors.
– Manages cleanroom supplies. i.e. shoe covers, ESD wrist and heel straps
– Manage and maintain clean room personnel ESD coats
– Manages vendor invoices
– Develop SOPs supported by Corp. Facilities partners and or area value stream leaders
– Follow organization standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and healthy training environment.
– Responsible for Hiring and developing as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of manufacturing lean room experience
– 3+ years’ experience with proper shop floor safety, organizations, and cleanliness practice
– 2+ years’ experience in one or more of the following tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, Confluence, Jira
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems
– Experience with Aerospace, Defense and Government programs
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
– Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to demonstrate high judgment, empathy, autonomy and flexibility
– Ability to effectively manage expectations, using sound judgment and escalating concerns when necessary
– Proven consultative experience, working with a number of cross functional partners
– Proven track record of taking ownership, managing conflicting priorities and driving results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $183,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
