Facilities Maintenance Manager, Fremont Plant Operations

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Maintenance Manager to lead the Plant Operations Maintenance team at our factory in Fremont, CA. This individual will be playing a critical role developing and managing the facilities maintenance systems and facilities utilities areas. They will be the liaison between the stakeholders, technicians, supervisors with regards to equipment maintenance, internal construction, work orders, project scheduling, and other factory logistical needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a multi-discipline team of engineers to support an operational manufacturing facility in a safe, reliable, and cost-effective manner
  • Support, direct, and coach engineering and maintenance staff in the areas of training, disciplinary action, problem resolution, and work delegation
  • Lead efforts to identify building improvements and equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability, maintainability, and operability of the site utilities
  • Manage, generate, and implement corrective action plans for facility system repairs, replacements, and modifications
  • Drive compliance with local and federal regulations (e.g. State Mechanical Inspector)
  • Drive compliance with site and corporate Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines
  • Review and direct space planning and allocation with the infrastructure development team
  • Manage projects through the coordination of work with design, construction, operations, maintenance, and production leads
  • Drive root cause investigations and failure analysis reporting on equipment and system failures
  • Support the operations team with development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and abnormal operation action plans for facility equipment and systems

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Plant Operations and Maintenance in Manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams of people
  • Strong working knowledge of regulations and codes
  • Ability to effectively work in a faced paced environment under constantly changing priorities and demands
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated history of utilizing strong organizational and communication skills when dealing with employees and senior leadership
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

      $92,000 – $240,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

      Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
