Facilities Security System Administrator

Overview

The Paychex Facility Security System Administrator is responsible for the overall operations of facility security. The primary focus is to ensure the real-estate property portfolio of 180+ regional service centers, branch operations, fulfillment centers and sales offices located throughout the United States provide a secure working environment and protect Paychex’s employees and physical assets. The Senior Facility Security System Administrator develops and implements security standards and policies, collaborates on emergency response procedures, assists the Audit Department in conducting security evaluations and applies resolutions. Facilities Security supports the goals of the Construction and Design Teams while optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of security at facilities during new build-outs and renovations and leveraging new and emerging technology to create a sustainable and scalable security platform.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage & implement new security installations at Paychex field offices enterprise wide. Troubleshoot alarms and resolve any errors in reporting field devices or system. Support on site integrators during service calls for Paychex field offices enterprise wide.
  • Provide support to 160+ CCure System Administrators enterprise wide as needed
  • Conduct field training for new CCure Administrators on Access Control, CCTV and Intrusion systems
  • Perform required weekly support tasks in CCure Database
  • Assist in planning & managing the health of all security systems & devices: software & firmware updates, end of life products, server access & usage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Security Systems, Database Management, Technology – Preferred
  • 3 years of experience in Security System design, installation or support.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities.
  • Quickly troublseshoots and resolves problems.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $54,670.00 – 85,910.00. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
