We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated full time Facilities Tech I – Carpenter to join our facilities team. As a Facilities Tech I – Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the living environment for our residents. The positions hours will be Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with some on call hours.
This position performs repairs and maintenance duties in all buildings, including preventive maintenance and repairs to mechanical systems. Maintains grounds, performing seasonal duties as directed. Drives 12-passenger van as needed. Possesses specific skill set/experience that provides a wider area of expertise (i.e. carpentry, grounds, mechanical, painting, team leader, etc.).

Knowledge and Abilities
- Must have general working knowledge of various electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems as well as general carpentry knowledge.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos, and instruction manuals.
- Ability to complete basic math calculations accurately.
- Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population.
- CPR certification required (can be certified on site).
- Valid NH driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Pool/Spa maintenance certification suggested.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and minimum three years related experience required.
- Graduate of technical school with minimum two years related experience preferred.
- Must have general working knowledge of various electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems as well as general carpentry knowledge.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos, and instruction manuals.
