Job Summary
Project management of Enterprise-wide facility planning projects (to include Florida Blue and its subsidiaries, GuideWell Health, as well as JV Partners and Tenants in Corporate Facilities that enable the achievement of the enterprise mission, vision, values and goals. Manages: the scope of projects, stakeholder relationships, resource coordination, project cost controls, problem resolution, change leadership, etc. to facilitate successful facility planning project outcomes. Responsible for all project management, construction, and coordination of internal (Telecommunications, Network Services, IT Provisioning, Safety & Security, Business Risk Solutions, etc.) and external business partners (architects, general contractors, vendors, etc.). Leader in implementing the physical changes required by business partners to support organizational needs and objectives and focuses on communication with business partners and all project stakeholders in the procurement and utilization of office space.
Note: The preferred candidate will live within a commutable range of Jacksonville, FL. This role includes frequent business travel across multi locations, cities, and states. All travel is covered by GuideWell.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Project Management: Manage all activities, (communications, workflow, budget, cost analysis and tracking, schedule development and implementation), with regard to the use of corporate office, retail, clinic, research spaces to include directing of all vendors and business partners’ activities and development of the design, space planning and implementation process. Coordinate all project specific schedules, (internal business partners, vendors, general contractor/ construction schedules). Identify and communicate critical dates to ensure accessibility, inspections and systems testing meet all regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Programming & Negotiations: Achieve commitment and mitigate risks with internal and external business partners and vendors, solicit input for programming of office space and schedule development.
- Financial Control & Re-utilization of Corporate Assets: Develop and prepare project budgets based on business partner’s needs, distribution, and effective use of corporate assets, monitor and estimate project costs.
- Space Planning & Design: Keep proficient current technology about Computer Aided Design software utilization, practices and standards. Development of construction documents for communication of project scope and implementation by vendors. Ensure adherence to corporate space standards, and OSHA/ADA requirements.
- Construction Documentation and Project Follow-through: Development of construction documents and detailed plans for distribution to contractors, architects, vendors and business partners, conduct post project review and analysis. Coordinate and facilitate on-site construction meetings, field verification and site inspections. Direct architects, general contractors, engineers, etc. as required to ensure proper coordination of resources. Identify and communicate any required modifications in design, construction, scheduling. Mitigate risk associated with project deliverables.

What You Must Have:
6+ years related work experience. Experience Details: Construction management, Corporate/Facilities space planning, asset and budget management and project management
Related Bachelor’s degree required related discipline, (examples include but are not limited to: Interior Design, Architecture, Facility Management, Building Construction and Facilities Management)
Technical/professional/functional knowledge and skills
Understanding of the strategic direction of impacted business units and organizational impacts; ability to provide guidance to help achieve the facilities’ related business needs.
Experience in accountability for the financial management of assigned projects, including reviewing integration opportunities, cost reductions and benefit realization.
Experience providing tactical leadership and subject matter expertise for the planning, managing and implementing of large projects having multiple internal and external dependencies, complex scope, organizational wide impact, and high levels of risk which require mitigation plans and work with multiple teams of resources. (planning project timelines and milestones, tracking progress, monitoring and communicating project status and determining project costs and controls; identifying and resolving project related issues and risks)
Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD to complete all tasks associated with interior space planning and design, generation of construction documents (including adherence to corporate standards and current ADA and building codes).
Ability to read and prepare construction documents for communication purposes while adhering to departmental and industry building construction standards and practices.
Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) to effectively schedule and communicate all aspects of project requirements.
Outstanding verbal, written and behavioral communication skills as well as strong analytical skills in order to effectively develop budgets, strategies, long and short term plans, problem solving, negotiations, contract development and evaluation.
Ability to lead, and motivate teams to work within various settings. Must be objective, flexible and responsive to change and understand the complexities of a changing work environment and be the leader in change management.
What We Would Prefer You Have:
6 + years relevant Commercial Project Management experience. Advanced working knowledge of AutoCAD software to include configuration and customization. Experience dealing with corporate budgeting process and procedures. Construction Management, Architectural, etc. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $85,900 – $100,000
Annualized Salary Range: $85,900 – $139,600
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
